Two realization methods of Tuya smart switch-double control and multi control

In recent days, many users have asked how the Tuya smart switch can realize dual control. Let's talk about how users can realize this function in the Tuya or smartlife app.

I. Setting multi Control Association

When the smart switch distribution network is successfully connected to the Tuya or smartlife app, enter the main page of the switch, click the position in the upper right corner (Note: it may be other positions) to enter the smart switch setting page. There is a multi control association option in the setting page. Select to turn on the multi control association and select the switch corresponding to the association. The keys in each switch can be set separately, and one or more switch keys can be associated. The effect is: open and close at the same time.

Wiring requirements: the smart switch used as the main control needs to be connected with neutral wire, live wire and light line, and the smart switch used as the auxiliary control only needs to be connected with neutral wire and live wire, which is used to supply power to the switch.

Multi control association is only applicable to the association control between switches, and other product associations cannot be set.

II. Set automatic execution tasks

Select "intelligent" in the middle column of Tuya or smartlife app, and select to add an intelligent execution task. The specific operations are as follows:

Set on: select Add condition - select operation equipment operation state change - select smart switch - select on - add execution task - select associated switch - select on - save.

III. setting and closing: the operation is the same as above

The wiring requirements of intelligent switch are the same as setting multi control association.

It is cumbersome and complicated to set multi control association by setting automatic execution tasks, but other product association control other than smart switch can be used.
