Difference between single fire switch and neutral wire switch

Before the smart switch, there were no so-called neutral wire mode switch and single wire switch. The only difference is that the "switch" is either connected to the live line or to the neutral line to turn on and off the bulb.
The switch is connected to the neutral line. Although there is no problem in use, because the live line is charged and the neutral line is not charged, when the switch is installed on the neutral line, the bulb will be directly connected to the live line, that is to say, the bulb will be charged whether it is opened or closed, and the glass part of the bulb touched by human hands will not be conductive and will not be affected. If you touch the metal part of the bulb, you will get an electric shock.
Thus, installing the switch on the neutral line is very unsafe and nonstandard. The ordinary wall switch in our home must be connected to the live wire.
Ordinary wall switches rely on people to turn them on and off manually, which is no problem. However, the reason why the smart switch is smart is that the switch integrates the control chip. Once the switch, bulb and control chip are disconnected, the control chip will run out of power at the same time,how can the smart phone be controlled?
Therefore, to make the switch intelligent, we must ensure that the control chip does not power off. There are two ways to keep the control chip powered on: live wire smart switch and single wire smart switch.
- Smart switch with neutral wire
The live wire and neutral wire pull out a line to supply power to control chip independently, which is the neutral wire plate switch.
When the smart switch is disconnected, control chip still has "neutral wire A" and "live wire B" power supply.
When the smart switch is closed, both the control chip & bulb are powered whether the light bulb is turned on or off, the control chip will have power, which can be connected to the Internet at any time and controlled by the mobile phone.
- Smart switch with single wire
The use method is similar as ordinary switch, which can easily replace the old switch at home without neutral.
